A first attempt at canoeing here — a camp night at Eselbe combined canoe time, camping, and, for whatever reason, vegetable biryani cooked over the fire.

Practical Tips
Self-camping through this stretch requires real preparation — water, fuel, and supplies are sparser between Chobe and Maun than on more built-up routes.
