Visa requirement for an Indian passport holder

Where and how to apply

• No VFS Global or BLS International — Mexico's visa applications in India are handled directly by the Embassy of Mexico in New Delhi or the Consulate of Mexico in Mumbai, depending on your jurisdiction.
• Appointments are required — the Consular Section cannot book appointments on an applicant's behalf, per the Embassy's own notice.
• Payment process differs by office: for New Delhi appointments, visa fee payment is made via QR code at the Embassy itself, on the day of your appointment (effective from 2 February 2026) — do not pay in advance. For Mumbai appointments, check the Consulate's own website for its separate payment process. Payments made to the wrong office will not be reimbursed.
