This is the path to start on if you're new to the industry and don't yet have a mental model for how the pieces fit together. It's ordered deliberately: version control first (because you'll use it in every stop after this one), then the web request lifecycle (DNS, HTTP, TLS), then the operating-system layer underneath it (Linux permissions, IIS, Event Viewer), then the habits that make troubleshooting and asking for help actually effective.

Don't rush this path. Each stop assumes the ones before it, and the hands-on IIS lab near the end is meant to make the earlier, more conceptual guides click into place through direct experience rather than just reading.
