Unlike Algebra or Arithmetic, Geometry problems are rarely solved through calculation alone — they are usually solved by first seeing a relationship in the figure (a similar triangle, a cyclic quadrilateral property, a hidden right angle) and only then calculating. Candidates who jump straight to formulas without first sketching or visualizing the figure tend to spend far longer per question than the topic actually requires.
Attempting to memorize Geometry as a list of formulas in isolation, the way Arithmetic formulas can sometimes be crammed. Geometry rewards spatial reasoning built through repeated practice with diagrams far more than formula memorization does.
